Happy Thursday to all of you guys! I am so happy that Christmas is here soon. And i really wish for some snow. This past years i have been celebrating Christmas in Malta, Costa Rica and a quickie to Sweden one year. But now, it is the first Christmas in 4 years where i can actually relax and enjoy everything around the Christmas celebration. So happy!
And apart from that. I also received one of the most awesome Glossyboxes since i started my membership. Got some really nice makeup, lotions and perfume. Those are really nice actually, i just love getting home a box of surprises every month. And it is a great gift btw. If you still didn’t have time to buy all the Christmas gifts you wanted, you can always buy a subscription for 6 month to someone. Just log in and buy a gift card and print it. Very much appreciated i can promise. I gave that as a gift earlier this autumn and she was very happy 🙂
With this code: FRIDA-R4G
You will also get 20% discount on your first box.
One thing i noticed was very popular on my trip to Malta was the pants i was wearing my first night out. My flower-pants, or maybe i should call them trousers. I must say i am very happy about them myself and they have a very nice fitting and are very comfy. Great buy!
If you feel like purchasing your own Floral/Flower pants you will find them at Boohoo via this link.
/not the best quality but the pic is taken from a mobile during the night t a party in an abandoned building.
This morning it was extremely hard to wake up. Even if i got pretty good amount of hours of sleep i still felt like a zombie when waken up. Probably because i had a flight from Malta to Sweden yesterday and i am jet lagged… Naah 😛
No but i had a really nice weekend, a lot to do and a lot of people i wanted to see but i did not have the time. It felt like the weekend just rushed by super quick. At least i met some of the people i wanted to see, which was really nice. We had some nice dinners and parties together.
This week some of them will also arrive to Sweden. I feel like i had a lot of Maltese (people i met in Malta) hangouts lately, both in Sweden and Malta, which is fun, i really met some great people there.
Monday again and a new week awaits. I had a great weekend and i am looking forward to this new week since i have a lot on my schedule.
The weekend that just passed was a real party weekend, visits from Malta and both rock parties and some more fancy ones at Cafe Opera. I had a lot of fun but i prefer having at least one day to rest during the weekend. But i should not expect to get that anytime soon, this upcoming 4 weeks are busy busy. But after that i have plans of taking it easy for a while. I need that.
This week passed extra fast, or is it just me? Well, it is already Friday again. It feels like it was 2 days ago i sat with a beer in my hand and watched the lottery for the World Cup 2018.
So what happened this week? Well, except from working, having an AW, training, sleeping and building a gingerbread house, not much has happen in my life this week. But i have some really fun plans for the weekend. I have visits from Malta of a group of non Maltese people. It is a bunch of guys that i got to know when i lived on the island and this weekend they are visiting Stockholm. I really looking forward to meet up with my crew after work today. It will be a typical Swedish/Mexican/Hong-Kong/Italian/Netherlands/English party weekend.
Wednesdays is AW days. It is in the middle of the week and also known for being called “little-Saturday”. Perfect choice for having standing AWs.
Last week i went with some friends from the office to play pool and after the pool to have some dinner at an really nice Italian restaurant close by.
Yesterday i went to meet up a friend who is working close to Medborgarplatsen. We went for some smaller dishes to share and some beers. Really nice, good times.
This was one of my latest treat to myself. Veggie Pizza & IPA (yes its a fav drink)
One thing that i find really important in life is to treat yourself. Not everyday & always of course. But every now and than. I mean, how fun is it if your weeks is only “waking up going to work, leaving work going home, watching tv go to bed”, and than you do that all over again until the weekend comes.
Sometime during the week i think it is important to do something different, to change the pattern and treat yourself. Thats why i try to go for an AW once every week (and no i dont mean to go out and get drunk, i would not manage to do my job if i did), but go out and have dinner, meet up with some friends, have a glass of wine, go to the cinema. Just something to break the pattern that most of us have in our everyday life.
Im sorry guys, but i have not been motivated to blog lately. Not because something happens, i just didnt feel it. But i will get back at it soon. I think one solution would be a new design, i am kind of bored with this one right now.
Since i am already in a little bit of a complaining mood, i would like to talk about something that i had totally forgot about during my years abroad. The public transport in Stockholm.. Come on!
I think it has been something wrong 80% of the days since i got beck here. And the crowded trains with people sneezing, people who cough. And for some reason, i always manage to get behind a person with a backpack, and this backpack always gets squeezed into my stomach or face..
Than i noticed some other very very annoying things, not really about the transport itself, but stuff that people do on the public transport. I am sorry if you who reads are one of them, but not everyone digging everything and there will always be someone to complain, right now it will be me!
1. People who thinks that their handbag needs a seat. The buss/subway is crowded, people are trying to find somewhere to sit or stand.. and there you are, taking up two seats, one for you and one for your bag.
2. People who talk unnaturally loud in their mobile phones. And now i dont mean people who just have a loud voice, i dont care much about that, but i experienced some real screamers, where i am pretty sure that the people the train passes by, also is hearing the conversation.
3. People who is whispering to them self… Maybe it doesnt happen that often, but it still happens and thats enough. Like i am sitting on my spot, having happy thoughts and than suddenly a person next to me start whispering to herself.. like it kind of freaks me out. It seriously feels like something is reading a curse over me.
4. The staring ones. I mean its okay to look at people, i do. I like to look at people. The world is full of beautiful people that deserves to be looked at!
But when you have someone in front of you that is staring for 10 min +, not moving the face at all, looks super serious.. Thats creepy.. It almost feeling like someone of Escobars guys is coming to pick me up.
5. The “cool” kids that playing loud music on the buss/subway.. And for some reason it is always HipHop. EARPHONES, please! I dont think the whole crowd on the public transport are dying to listen to Jay Z, Snoop Dog and poop cat the whole way to wherever they are going.
Okay.. i could continue for a while but i am done now 😀 And i am actually not in that bad of a mood that it might have sounded like in this text, i am actually in a pretty good mood, its Friday guys! 😀
